Anaïs and Elias are two artists who discovered their love for French music and Jazz, on the conservatory of Ghent. After knowing eachother for several years, they decided to share their passion and co-create music.

My name is Anaïs, a 25 years old Jazz singer from Hasselt, Belgium. After highschool I took a leap of faith and decided to go for my life long passion, music, by starting at the conservatorium in Gent studying Jazz music. In 2024, I finished my master degree at the conservatory of Antwerp. I've been lucky to meet amazing artists along the way which helped me to find my own style of singing and I'm looking forward to what the future will bring me.

My name is Elias, 25 years old musician from Ghent, currently finishing my studies (master jazz piano) at the conservatory of Ghent, where I've met Anaïs.
Elias is/was taught by Erik Vermeulen, Christian Mendoza, Bram De Looze, Seppe Gebruers, Werner Meert.
the passion for (jazz) music leads his way through his life as a young 'traveler' who likes the sound of the past, present and the future.

Their work
EQUI
ÉQUI sprang to life from the shared passion for jazz and French music of Anaïs and Elias. After two years of work, it grew into an original concept by which they want to tell their unique story through their jazz background: the well-known French chanson in a new way. They will take you on a journey through the streets of Paris and you might even imagine yourself in a jazzbar from the 40'ies.
